Students against depression. Are you or someone you care about feeling persistently sad, low, anxious or empty? Depression is more common than you might think – 1 in 10 people will experience depression and/or anxiety in any one year. Students Against Depression offers information and resources validated by health professionals alongside tips and advice from students who have experienced it all themselves.

  • Chathealth – Birmingham and Sandwell 07480 635485
    All young people in Birmingham and Sandwell aged 11-19 can receive confidential support on physical and emotional wellbeing and hot teenage topics such as bullying and sexual health by sending a brief text message
  • Kooth: A free, safe and anonymous online support for young people (11-19 years plus) available at all times at www.kooth.com. It includes accessing online counselling support. Monday-Friday: noon-10pm. Saturday and Sunday: 6pm – 10pm.

  • The Trussell Trust Foodbanks. We have links with these foodbanks and can issue vouchers to families who might need them. Click here.
